Job Title: Receptionist/Dispatcher

Location: Blaine

Pay Range: $22-24/hour

Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm


Job Summary:

The Receptionist/Dispatcher serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role also coordinates dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient communication between clients, field staff, and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed.

Dispatch Duties:

  • Receive and process service requests via phone, email, or internal systems.
  • Enter work orders, order parts, send out invoices.
  • Assign and dispatch field personnel based on availability, location, and urgency.
  • Monitor job progress and update clients and internal teams accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service calls.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, drivers, and other staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or customer service training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a receptionist, dispatcher, or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
